Abstract

This paper is about an educative project that has taken place in UAM-Xochimilco, in which teaching, research and the service to the community have been linked since its origins. We developed a route that begins with its original purposes, with which the university’s syndicalists workers were the principal students, reaching up to the actual population that is mainly formed by young people, students of high school degree in non scholarized system. Through this route we analyze the different moments of this project, emphasizing its purpose in facing the more and more serious exclusion problem that actually represents a complex situation in the context of the educative politics in Mexico.
