Enquire into the relationship between identity-marginalization is not a new subject, however sociocultural, political, economic and technological fields transformation lead to keep on reflecting about these different ways of social segregation that appear in the second decade on xxi Century, where identity is still a form of discrimination. The combos reggaetoneros and their social practices are an example of this in México City. This stigmatized youth by the music they listen to, by their reggaeton identity, for belonging to less favored socioeconomic strata, for dancing “perreo” and for its religious worship of saint Jude Thaddaeus and/or Holy Death. The objective of this paper is to share some research findings about some sociocultural practices of the combos, specifically the cult of saint Jude Thaddaeus that hascurrently named it as “San Jude’s Fest”, to reflect about the social rejection these young people face when attending church on the 28th of each month, where their reggaeton identity and their religious practice are questioned and criticized by the other pilgrims, because it is considered that their worship does not correspond to the traditional way, what has generated different forms of exclusion and discrimination towards the combos, leading them to be a kind of musical nomads in the city: urban outcasts in early century.
