El mal y la política en Thomas Hobbes

Abstract

This article is a review of evil and politics in Thomas Hobbes. The purpose of this article is to show that the notion of Hobbes man lays the foundation for the development of his theory of the State and its political program. In general, what I want to show is that both the political thought and the political philosophy of Thomas Hobbes are characterized by a strong mistrust of human nature with its passions. That translates into a repressive policy directed to contain and limit the anti-social consequences of human nature and his passions.
