Abstract

Education discourse and its concept of subject consider that behavior and learning related problems have only meaning in terms of “failures” and “faults” of unique actors; which, far from solving them, creates and recreates the problematic situation but it holds up the rationality of school discourse and legitimize the work performed by institutional actors and “psych” professionals whom the problematic situation is referred to. From the psychoanalysis point of view we know that learning is the result of subjective processes non-defined from conscience and will. What options may be offered by psychoanalysis inside the school institution to clarify and elucidate such problems?
