Biopoder y gubernamentalidad de la vejez en México

Abstract

The present paper reflects on old age from a Foucaultian perspective. In the first part, the concepts of biopower, anatomopolitics, biopolitics and governmentality are addressed. Subsequently, from these notions, we reflected on how governmentalization of old age has been carried out through public policies and the circulation of discourses, without neglecting the role played by the subjects of power.
