Abstract

The consequences of industrial development, poor administration in the management of natural resources, the poor application of laws, accelerated tourism and urban development, among other arbitrariness, have triggered the social interest with respect to environmental problems. It is notorious how in the last years the urgency to stop the incessant voracity of capitalist cultures has become increasingly evident, which do not stop looking to expand in space and time. Because of this multiple forms of socio-environmental “struggle” have emerged, being mostly peasant and popular. These sectors have best been able to maintain a non-predatory relationship with the territory and common goods.
