Abstract

Modern politics, supported by scientific speech, seeks to eradicate evil by promising the supreme good, obstructing desire. The case presented below is one of many that, unfortunately, can be found throughout the history and geography of Mexico. Disappearances, searches without a warrant, money theft, car confiscation, and storage of weapons and drugs, are traits of this squad licensed to kill. The defendants’ arguments of following orders open the discussion of what happens when the kantian imperative is exaggerated. Taken to the political-institutional space, this position does not free them from guilt, as they gave up into their desire. That can we be good on evil, question traditional ethics. In this article we will make a philosophical-literary journey along the coastlines of good and evil, arriving at the port of the freudian discovery.
