Abstract

This work offers a regard about the movie Luchas en Italia of the Dziga Vertov Group, a collective of French miltant cinema emerged in the heat of the days of May 1968. The aim is to visualize what –in terms of Jacques Rancière– it does political into the film. For this, we will also explore the dialogue that the film opens with a key to the time text: Ideology and Ideological State Apparatuses by Louis Althusser. Now, if we intend to realize the political nature of the film we must move on a thought with the image that achieves go beyond the technical aspects to elucidate its critical power. Here are key contributions of feminist analysis of the image. We think that this type of analysis is of great importance to investigate problem areas where communication intersects with art and politics.
