Abstract

This article exposes some of the theoretical and methodological reflections on the articulation of three issues that I always considered problematic in the social sciences: the word, the experience and field intervention. To deepen in that, I avail myself of the contribution of different authors whose thoughts remain valid in contemporary life. The paradoxical relationship between experience and language are discussed in terms of the intervention work I made in the town of Atenco, Estado de Mexico, where activists produce relevant narrations to think about these issues. From this same experience which has operated as a pivot, I try to retrieve somehow the lessons taken and returned in the learning spaces to put on the table the need for ethical, political and methodologically conscious intervention.
