Abstract

Our starting point for this article is to consider children and young people as social subjects with their own rights, as proposed by the Convention on the Rights of the Child. We analyze how different projects in the last two decadeshad addressed and implemented the children’s rights to participation, and present an analysis of what it means to work with children and adolescents without parental care from the perspective of this rights. In this sense listening to their opinions have been an important axis to reflect with them their experiences, and to fully respect the expression of their emotions. Finally we do a reflection about the responsibility and the ethical implications within intergenerational relationships, where the recognition of the difference of the young people worldview certainly allow us to expand and enrich our way of life and our vision of reality.
