Abstract

In this paper I will focus on the contexts of social action that occur to be done diverse meetings in public areas. Because the subject is in this case the democratic way of life, its depth and its problems, I propose to distinguish a limited set of relevant aspects that go into the making of such situations as it is here, in the constant creation of canvas of significations that their actors perform, life’s democratic quality and the constitution of citizenship are in game. Given that my investigations are inscribed in projects oriented by “critical elucidation” of public scopes, I consider relevant rehearsing a reflexive link between the meeting ambits taken as significative ambits themselves. For it, I will develop the notion of occasion , which inscribes in the rhetorical fields, and we will postulate it as valid tool to consider the contexts of action as openings in the folds of those situational instances, the momentary configuration of a virtually legible field.
