Abstract

While the capital accumulation logics gain ground, social movements and organizations take measures to build their autonomy through the put in practice of self-management strategies to attend their immediately problematic. In order to understand the sense, implications and potentialities of this kind of initiatives, we can ask: which are the notions of autonomy that are used and recreated by self-management social organizations?, how do autonomy and self-management link and distinguish between them?, which conceptualizations about subject and subjectivity are coherent with this perspective? This article has as purpose to discuss the link between autonomy and self-management, as well as their implications to the subjectivity, having as reference the experience of a social organization emerged in the east of Mexico City at the beginnings of the nineties.
