La tortura como inscripción del dolor en el cuerpo

Abstract

The torture is a practice that inscribes the pain in the body which treads indelibly. From calculated and regulated techniques, it submits the tortured one of a terrible suffering that goes beyond the body devastating subjectivity. Indeed, that is the target of torment, to break through the physical martyrdom, one by one, the subjective ties, leaving the subject in a state of complete vulnerability. This article addresses this form of submission as a tool of State repression, used to obtain information and disrupt dissident movements that threaten the commanding power, but also as a form of punishment, avoidance of resistance capability, the absolute destruction of the subject to achieve his total domination. Some survivor’s voices of the Argentine dictatorship included in the text, realizing of the effects of the unlimited application of the torment.
