El miedo que socava la gestión colectiva del medio ambiente

Abstract

The paper shown the process which is generated from warning messages revealed about huge environmental, pollution that could happen if some toxic wastes landfill facilities is constructed in State of Hidalgo, Mexico, all of them, in order to promote an opposite stream against the project. Moreover, some strategies of fear production generated by those messages are analyzed and discussed, specially its effects of fragmentation, manipulation and polarization over the population, its difficulties to do what has to be done for autonomous manage of its own resources; and how the collective decision making process to solve environmental problems is set aside.
