La infancia europea entre el consumo y la polis

Abstract

In this paper are revisited some european researchs about childhood in the society of consumption. The main question is: are boys and girls better consumers than citizens? So that the childhood discourse -as they show in focus group, interviews, games and watching TV- is more rich in arguments and stories, when boys and girls speak about their relationship trough commodities, than in their strictly political discourse, in wich they talk about human rights, citizenship, freedom and justice
