Abstract

The author points that is not a precise category such as “addict” and “toxicomanie” in the clinical work with young people who consume drugs. According to, he sets up a bi-front perspective, one is the personal story that takes the subject to a particular relation with the object drug; and on the other hand, the social historical context, in which the psychoanalyst develops his practice. In order to give an example, the speech therapist shows that the young people, who are fond of going to raves or electronic musical parties, are included in a particular social institution; the raves, which contend them. At the same time, the author underlines the special stage in the human life, the youth, and the importance of being included in a group to support the structural anguish. This article tries to examine the concepts used to approach the theme of addictions.
