Abstract

It is always difficult to expound a not very well known upstream interpretation of psychological events. This paper attempts to do it. Within the Analytic Psychology, the Shadow is a very important element and it has to do with that unconscious zone that should be conscious, but not always one contacts its traits in a comfortable way. Jung himself guides us into this remarkable part of his psychological theory, since he perceived its presence, before the beginning of the World War I, until he more clearly studied and exposed it, only two years before the World War II. Shadow, as we said in the title of this paper is an unacceptable part of ourselves. It is a cost, like a payment, for that kind of personality we accepted. The better path is going from the known to the unknown, as always.
