Representación y masculinidad

Abstract

n theatre everything tends to hide the performative character of masculinity. The masculine does not exist as representation. There are only actors who represent humanity as a whole. Actors and the people they represent grow old. However, they know nothing of menopause, as a clash and me impossible unification of being as a social subject and also as object of desire. In order to act and not represent, they don't need to place themselves at the margins, beyond or before desire. They are not divided by mind and body but rather bodies without rules, entirely thrown to the expression of freedom. Marie Lourties is dedicated to theatre. She presents her shows in solitaire and leads a project for the integration of representation and both the theory of representation and feminism.
