Abstract

The objective of this article is to define the basic functions of the myth in the writing of the novel. The life of the subject that is tried to preserve of a world that is degraded. In this context and almost always of implicit way, in contrast, the novel sends to the utopia, to the world of integrations perfect between the human beings. With this mythical dimension like tactical reference, in the novel it is criticized to the myths that consecrate the scopes of sense and the contexts of legitimacy of the declining life of the world that surrounds to us. The novel retakes to the myth, must retake it to make poetry and not to present/display a coarse reality. But when showing specific myths, criticize them, destroy them, sample that are mirages. Thus it denounces to the society and his illusionism but it preserves the ideal and with the a the subject that lives history and extends it
