Abstract

This essay examines the epistemological and conceptual implications of a performance piece developed at the José Eugenio Tello Museum in Viedma, Argentina. Created by a multidisciplinary research group from the National University of Río Negro in late September 2024, the work serves as a case study for aesthetic operations in public spaces. The analysis aims to establish a critical perspective on the creative process while simultaneously proposing that such artistic research produces a distinct form of knowledge. This "other" knowledge emerges from collective labor, creation, and affect, fostering new ways of remembering and inhabiting a territory beyond the traditional erection of monuments.
