Fragilidad compartida: la Comunidad del Cordero desde la communitas de Roberto Esposito

Abstract

This article analyzes the symbolic system of the Community of the Lamb as a space that reconfigures ontological conceptions of humanity and the other, giving rise to processes of ethical subjectivation that are expressed in subtle forms of hospitality, solidarity, and relational openness. First, Esposito’s theoretical and conceptual framework is presented, allowing for an analysis of how this communal experience shapes subjecti­ vities through bonds, affections, and everyday practices that transcend the modern immunological framework. Second, the sociohistorical context in which the community emerged is presented, subsequently identifying its distinctive features as a spirituality that does not exclude, but rather affirms the common good as a way of life. Finally, the article explores how the reinterpretation of the small, the fragile, and the marginalized unleashes a political power that challenges neoliberal logic through a subjectivation that opens possibilities in the face of structures that deny dignity and communal life.
