Abstract

During the first months of the year of 2020, the nursing staff was one of the many actors who bravely put their bodies in the battle against an unknown disease. I am referring to the global pandemic caused by the spread of Covid-19, in its form of the virus known as sars-cov-2. For this reason, through the approach of concrete experiences, this text proposes to share a look at what the pandemic has meant for nursing staff in their daily work, whose central pillar is the care of the other.

It should be noted that the fragments of unique stories shared here have the same point in common: looking at empathy as a political strategy to overcome the current times of civilizational crisis.
